Rev. Fr. Ljubomir Kupec founded the parish 2001 with services twice a year. In 2007 Fr. Cassian Sibley began monthly Liturgy and the parish was designated an English-language mission. In 2008, Hieromonk Aidan began serving in English and Slavonic. In Jan. 2011, location changed from a single-wide trailer to a home. On May 31, 2013, the first cross-raising was held at the church (installation of gold cupola and cross). Fr. Moses McPherson became the rector near the end of 2020, and the Parish moved to a more permanent location up the road in Georgetown.
