The Russian Orthodox Church’s Mission to Hawaii was established in 1915 by Martyred-Protopresbyter Jacob Korchinsky. Priests were shipped and flown in throughout the years, and with the establishment of the Iveron Parish in the late 1970s, the Russian Orthodox Church became firmly rooted in the Islands. The Parish is also home to the Wonderworking Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Holy Theotokos. May she continue to protect us under her Sacred Omophorion!
