Комментарии: Indonesian is the main language and is always used in the Divine Liturgy. Church Slavonic and Greek is used when the hymns are chanted. The church is part of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, but accepts inter-jurisdictional members. It is important to contact the parish through email first if you would like to plan a visit to the church. The congregation there welcomes people of various nationalities, in addition to other Indonesians who would like to join the parish. Fr. Kirill is the rector, a married priest, for more than 14 years.

Расписание богослужений: The Hours and Divine Liturgy is held every Sunday, at 9:00 AM. Vespers is held at every Saturday at 6:00 PM. Sometimes, the priest will be serving in another community in Malang. In that case, there will be no vespers and a Typica service will be held at 09:30 AM. During Great Lent, there is a Presanctified Liturgy every Wednesday and an Akathist to the Theotokos every Friday. During the Dormition Fast, there is a moleben service to the Theotokos every Friday.

Surabaya is the provincial Capital City of East Java and is the second-largest city in Indonesia. The parish is served by Fr. Kirill. The parish was once an Orthodox community in 2004 until 2013, where services were held in Fr. Kirill's home. Currently, since 2013, the parish had moved inside a parishioner's house, in a room generously lent to the parish. Fr. Kirill was once a protestant, who converted to Orthodoxy in the 1990s and was sent to Russia by Fr. Daniel Byantoro (the founder of Orthodoxy in Indonesia), to study theology in the Moscow
